Certification and Standards
A globally recognised standard for fire safety.
Tristone Solid Surfacing was deemed to meet the criteria required to achieve the following certification:
Class 0 Warrington Certification
BS476 Part 6
BS476 Part 7
Low chemical emissions = Cleaner, breathable air.
Tristone by Lion Surfaces has been Green Guard Certified meaning that our products and materials have low chemical emissions, improving the quality of the air in which the products are used.
GreenGuard Gold certification offers stricter certification criteria, considers safety factors to account for sensitive individuals (such as children and the elderly), and ensures that a product is acceptable for use in environments such as schools and healthcare facilities.
The global standard for plastic materials used in food equipment.
The National Sanitation Foundation establishes food protection and sanitary requirements for materials, design, construction and performance of commercial food equipment. Tristone Solid Surfaces are NSF/ANSI 51 Certified for all food types.
This means it is the perfect material for food preparation and servery areas, as well as in areas where food may be consumed.
